Application of automated production in the glass industry

with the further integration of the new generation of information technology and manufacturing, the development of Intelligent Manufacturing in China has achieved remarkable results, and the technical equipment in the glass field is waiting for downstream demand verification; In the macro aspect, the convening of the two sessions has also been upgraded synchronously, gradually realizing the connection of sales, order arrangement, production and handling, intelligent connection, management, procurement, warehousing, delivery and other links in the process, and the "smart factory" is beginning to take shape

in the 28th China International Glass Technology Exhibition, which has just ended, we also saw the loading and unloading robot and the fully automatic glass raw sheet storage and loading system displayed by EU using the metal impact testing machine to test the mechanical properties of materials, lisek's intelligent storage system, North Glass's vertical film management system, collier's intelligent storage system, the fully automatic tempering furnace of Seiko Machinery Baichao's full-automatic insulating glass production line, Lantian Xinhai's full-automatic insulating glass gluing machine, etc. after a round, everyone generally felt that automation and intelligence were becoming the general trend in the glass industry

according to Ms. Zhao Beining, an expert consultant and enterprise planning and technical marketing consultant of Foshan Gongxing Glass Machinery Co., Ltd. and Foshan gerst Glass Machinery Co., Ltd., glass enterprises now prefer to implement automated production if conditions permit. For one thing, the personnel are not easy to manage, and for the other, their wages are rising every year, which is equivalent to the annual increase of enterprise production costs

with highly automated equipment, although the space of the workshop is not saved, the most important thing is the saving of labor, and some can even save 2/3 of manpower. Moreover, while reducing labor costs, connecting equipment can improve production efficiency and yield of finished products, and greatly reduce the error rate and loss rate of manual operation. Although intelligent connection saves labor, it still needs someone to operate it, and it must be high-tech personnel

some people doubt that there is also a "barrel principle" in intelligent connection. The final production capacity is determined by the shortest piece of wood, that is to say, during the operation process, if a certain part is not synchronized, there will be problems. How meaningful is this connection. In this regard, Zhao Beining explained that the connection depends on the software program. At present, the software development can achieve how large the glass is set, how fast it can go, how easy it is to wear the interval, etc., and the intelligent connection is "slow or fast". However, the slowest is not much slower, more than ten meters a minute, and the fastest one minute can reach 27 meters, which can only be said to be unable to achieve the fastest

in addition, there are not many factories with a high degree of automation at present, because the intelligent connection needs mass production. If it is a piecemeal order, the program needs to be adjusted every time. Therefore, the intelligent connection cannot be applied to small factories for the time being, and it can only rely on manpower for the time being. The current price of intelligent equipment is still high, and the cost recovery will take many years. For small factories, such equipment cannot be put into operation at once, But it doesn't matter because the number of small factories is small

although the standards and software of intelligent manufacturing are relatively weak in terms of China's development level, with the continuous improvement and maturity of technology, the investment cost will be greatly reduced, and both large and small enterprises will benefit from automation and intelligence
